3508038 - Error in Replicate Sales Office from SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

You get an error in the integration with the office replica, visible in the Message Monitoring with the following error:

"You cannot use cycles in organizational unit hierarchy"

"Org Unit XXXX is temporarily its own parent"  

Environment

Sales Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Settings
  2. search and open Message Monitoring
  3. Open the corresponding inbound message in error state.

Cause

It might be a wrong configuration in your Prefix ID defined for Sales Office in CPI 

Since we must have a prefix, otherwise system considers the numeric/ID Sales Office value as Unit of own parent.

Resolution

Ensure you have maintained the proper value for the below parameter in Cloud Platform Integration:

  1. Go to Design
  2. Open the package: SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 Integration for Master Data with SAP S/4HANA or SAP S/4HANA Cloud
  3. Configure "Replicate Sales Office from SAP S4HANA" 
  4. Set the value for: Display Id Prefix
  5. Save and Deploy the iflow
