Symptom

The following behaviours are observed: 

  • Slow database performance, particularly with complex or long-running queries.
  • DTU (Database Transaction Unit) exhaustion leading to degraded application performance.
  • Sluggish initialization or updates in SAP Commerce Cloud due to a high number of indexes defined in items.xml.
  • Frequent timeouts or failures in database operations.
