3508825 - "Assign/Remove Learning" behavior - Manager Links

• Managers are unable to remove admin assigned items from the direct reports' Learning Plan using the Manage Assignments option;

SAP SuccessFactors Learning 

When the 'New Learning Experience' is enabled and entity assigned/removed by manager:

1. Login and go to Learning 
2. From the Dashboards menu, access 'Team View' 
3. From the 'More manager actions', click on 'Manage Assignments, which leads the manager to the "Assign/Remove Learning" feature.

When the 'New Learning Experience' is enabled and entity assigned/removed by admin:

1. Access Learning as a manager >
2. Go to Team View >
3. Go to Manage Assignments >
4. Select Remove Assigned Learning >
5. Click on Add the item and search for an admin assigned item >
6. Search for the user and click on Continue >
7. Click on Remove Learning >
8. The item is not removed.

When the 'New Learning Experience' is disabled:

1. Login and go to Learning > My Team 
2. At the 'Manager Links' tile, click on "Assign/Remove Learning".

Assign Learning:

• Managers can assign items, programs and curricula to one or multiple employees.

Remove Assigned Learning:

• Managers may use this tool to remove assigned items or programs from one or multiple employees;
• Curricula and its items CANNOT be removed using the "Assign/Remove Learning" feature;
• Entities assigned by administrators CANNOT be removed using this functionality.

NOTE: There have been some enhancements requests on it, and our customers are welcomed to vote for them and/or create additional requests. In ILX Team View, to remove items assigned by an admin, instead of the Manage Assignments option, the manager needs to use the 'Remove' button available when opening the item details page from the user assignments or the 'Remove' button available at each assigned item.

    The route to remove items, programs or curricula assigned by an admin as a manger is the following:

    • Items: Team View > Select user from the list > Click on the item title to open the item details page > Click on 'Remove' 
       -OR- At the Team View > Select user from the list > For the item to be removed, click on the three dots button > Click on 'Remove'.
    • Programs: Team View > Select user from the list > Click on the program title to open the program details page > Click on 'Withdraw'.
    • Curricula: Team View > Select user from the list > Click on the curricula compliance status on the top of the page to open the curricula list page > Click on the X on the Remove column for the corresponding curricula.

Workaround for the managers remove curricula assigned by them:

• When 'New Learning Experience' is enabled > at the 'Team View' page > select the required direct report > at the user's record header, there will be a Curriculum Status indicator when the user is assigned to curricula. Clicking on the indicator leads the manager to the user's 'Curriculum Status' wizard, from where the manager can remove curricula that was assigned by them;
  
• When 'New Learning Experience' is disabled > at the 'My Team' page > select the required direct report > at the 'Status' link, there is a Curricula option showing the user's progress towards curricula assigned to them. Clicking on it, the manager lands on the user's 'Curriculum Status' wizard, from where the manager can remove curricula that was assigned by them.
