3508833 - Metadata error when accessing the SAC URL in a parallel tab - Story troubleshooting

While troubleshooting blank/loading screen issues when creating/running Story reports via Report Center, you followed KBA 3508799 and encountered an error when accessing the SAC URL in a parallel tab.

Error message: Metadata for issuer <IAS-ID>.accounts.ondemand.com wasn't found.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Follow the KBA 3508799 - How to collect SAML traces for Story troubleshooting
2. When opening the SAC URL in a parallel tab, as described in the KBA, the error below is displayed:

Wrong URL set in IAS > Application & Resources > Tenant Settings > SAML 2.0 Configuration > Name

1. Follow the KBA 3508288 - How to find the IAS entityID
2. The URL set as entityID must match with the URL set in IAS > Application & Resources > Tenant Settings > SAML 2.0 Configuration > Name
3. If the URLs are not matching, the URL set in IAS needs to be modified. Once it is fixed, click on Save.
