3508885 - Error messages related to connections when opening a workbook from transaction code RAAOE or Business Objects Portal

Symptom

When downloading and opening a workbook from transaction code RAAOE or from Business Objects Planning and Consolidation Portal, the following two error messages are coming up in sequence:

  • Service cannot be reached
    The termination occurred in system with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden
    HTTP 403 - forbidden
  • Then another error is displayed: no SAP ErrInfo available RETURN CODE: DEALLOCATED_NORMAL
