Resolution

Troubleshooting steps:

To troubleshoot the issue, follow the steps below:

1. JobReqJobProfile entity

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Data.
  2. In the 1st dropdown, select 'JobReqJobProfile'.
  3. In the 2nd dropdown, select the Job Req ID.
  4. This will display the job profile associated with the job requisition.
  5. Click on the quick card of the job profile.
  6. This will display the details of the job profile. --> Verify if the Status is Active. (#1)
  7. Click on the quick card of the role.
  8. This will displays the details of the role. --> Verify if the Status is Active. (#2)

Another way to check the status of the Role is by navigating to Manage Job Profile Content > Set Up Families and Roles.

Note:

When associating a job profile with a job requisition in Recruiting Management (RCM), the system creates a clone of the original job profile with the 'subModule=RCM' from Job Profile Builder (JPB). This allows you to make edits to the job profile in RCM without affecting the original version.

The job profile linked with the JobReqJobProfile entity is the cloned job profile for the 'subModule=RCM'. To check the original job profile form Job Profile Builder (JPB), follow the steps below:

2. Job Profile entity

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Profiles
  2. Select the Family
  3. Select the Role
  4. Click on Go
  5. This will display the job profile. --> Verify if the Status is Active. (#3)

Solving the issue:

#1 If the Job Profile ('subModule=RCM') linked with the JobReqJobProfile entity is inactive

  7. Click on Edit
  8. Change the Status to Active

#2 If the Role is inactive

Please confirm with the Job Profile Builder administrator which Role should be used instead of the inactive one.

If the current Role is correct, please activate the Role in Manage Job Profile Content > Set Up Families and Roles.

#3 If the original Job Profile in Manage Job Profiles is inactive

This will not directly cause an error in RCM since RCM will clone a copy from it. However, it is necessary to confirm with the Job Profile Builder administrator which Job Profile should be used instead of the inactive one.

If the current Job Profile is correct, please activate the Job Profile in Manage Job Profiles.
