Environment

SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 08 and later servers, TLS 1.3 is necessary for secure connections. The client versions that support TLS 1.3 include:

  • SQLDBC
    • Version 2.18.22 and later with CommonCryptoLib 8.5.48 and later
    • Version 2.18.22 and later with OpenSSL 1.1.1 and later
    • Version 2.23.24 and later with MSCrypto for Windows 11 / Windows Server 2022
  • JDBC
    • Version 2.18.2 and later with a JDK 8 version released on or after July 2022 (SAP JVM 8.1.089 or Oracle JDK 8u341) or JDK 11 and later
