3509266 - location change is only reflected on the "right side" of Job Info History and not on the left panel (History Summary)

Customer is changing a location's name via Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures. When a new job in record is created after the location's name change, this change is only reflected on the "right side" of Job Info History and not on the left panel (History Summary)

Step: 1

1. Go To Job Information
2. Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures
3. Location: SAPCorporate - US-Philadelphia (1710-2001)

 Detail:

• • Old:Location: LINKEBODA, 66667, TestTest (20211959)
  • New: Location: LINKEBODA, 66667, SAPTest (20211959)

Step 2:

1. Go to test user Job infos
2. Make  dummy change in Note field
3. Save

Check result:

• No change in History section

• Works as designed.
• As the location is still the same (same code) and only its name is changed, this is not reflected in Job Info History Summary (left panel), but only on the right panel.

This is working as designed. As there is a new People Profile and Job Info History planned and Engineering is already working on that project with priority, there are no capacities to change this "old" behavior.
