3509323 - Manager Banner Image: Alternative Text message not displaying in Mobile App

Symptom

After the configuration of the Alternative text in the Manager Banner Image tool under Mobile Portrait section, the text doesn't appear in the Successfactors Mobile App.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Mobile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile App
  2. Check the banner Image
  3. Alternative text cannot be seen by any means.

Cause

Expected by system design.

Resolution

It was confirmed by engineering team that the Alternative Text is not used in any way in the native iOS and Android apps. It is only used if via website access through mobile phone.

Visit the Influence Improvements platform and raise a request for possible future development cycle considerations.
