3509471 - Error Occurs While Trying to Change the end Date of the Project Task

An error occur when attempting to change the end date of the project task to DD.MM.YYYY. 
Error - End date of work must be before earliest finish date of task

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center
2. Go to Projects view
3. Choose the relevant Project and select the Project Task 
5. Navigate to the Work tab
6. Change the End Date 
7. The error appears

In order to enter the end date of the project task, you have to enter the Finish Constraint Date and then click on Schedule button. Now system schedules Earliest Finish date and later you can Change the end date. 

You can follow the below steps to maintain the end date. 

1. Go to Project Management work center
2. Select Projects view
3. Choose the relevant Project 
4. Go to the project plan tab
5. Select the relevant Project Task 
6. Go to the Scheduling sub tab
7. Enter Finish Constraint Date and click on Schedule button
9. The system schedules Earliest Finish date 
10. Go back to Work tab
11. Change the End Date 
12. Select Save
