Symptom

The Layout-Oriented Storage Control(LOSC) is not triggered, only one warehouse task is created when moving the stock internally.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

The 2 possible cases are listed below.

  1. The Layout-Oriented Storage Control is handling units required. If the stock is not packed, LOSC will not triggered.
  2. The "confirmation" flag cannot be set. Once it is set, the LOSC will be ignored.
