3509930 - Could not create content due to an internal error & Could not fetch the content from the design-time destination

Symptom

While creating a content channel you are met with the error:

  • <Internal>: Could not create content due to an internal error

This is then resolved by setting the Authentication to Basic Authentication n the design time destination settings. 

Then another error occurs:

  • <Connectivity/Forbidden>: Could not fetch the content from the design-time destination
