SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Address Information

• Go to test user 
• Select Address Information
• Result:No validation

Configuration issue

SAP Action:

1. Log in to Provisioning and select your company. Choose Company Settings.
2. Select Employee Central Address Validation Service
3.  This ensures the Address Typeahead and Address Validation Service function are available in your system

Customer action:

• As a customer, you don't have access to Provisioning. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your implementation partner. If you're no longer working with an implementation partner, contact SAP Cloud Support.
• Customer must provide a written approval for above task

After above Customer must Grant permission under: 

1. Go to Manage Permissions Role and select the corresponding role. Under permissions choose Miscellaneous Permissions and enable the permissions for Address Validation Configuration for Country/Region.

Q) Address Validation Service clarification

A) only the DQM service is supported for address validation; any other third-party custom API's are not supported 

• The Address Typeahead and Address Validation Service is only available for the local versions that are configured in Address Validation Configuration for Country/Region.

• The Address Validation Service supports the following scenario:

  • The Address Validation Service is not currently supported for Imports and APIs.

  • If there is a picklist assigned to the address content, this will only work if the corresponding country has only one official language.

  • Support will be provided primarily for the countries that have a template mapping available.
