3510186 - 500 Connection Timed Out error after launching Web Dynpro ABAP applications

Symptom

  • WebDynpro ABAP applications are not working and getting connection timeout message:

500 Connection Timed Out
Timeout occured

  • When running the WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES report via SE38, the red status appears for UR Mime Deployment:

UR Mime Deployment
status     RED STATUS @5C@ Read SAP Note 1411980:

" If the status of the deployment in the report WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES is red or if the report displays the error message "Deployment Error", please try to deploy the MIME files again in the report WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES ("Deploy Mimes" button)."
