3510825 - Material Number Range Error while activating change request created from MDG Consolidation Porcess

You have configured specific material types with Internal number range only or Internal&External number range. You created MDG consolidation process using a source file without providing a source ID for the material which means internal number assignment will be triggered. There is no error in the consolidation process activation and the corresponding change request is created with the material assigned using the next available number based on the number range assignment. However, when you activate the change request, the following error will block the activation:

• For material type with only internal number range: No external number assignment possible for mat. type &(M3317).
• For material type with both internal and external number range: Number & not defined for material type &(M3318).
