3510948 - The files exceeding the maximum file size are not archived as expected in FTP sender channel

Symptom

The code fix provided in SAP Note 3495590 - Handle FTP Exception in compareFileSize method has been applied on PO system. When processing a file exceeding the maximum file size value configured in the FTP sender channel, the relevant error is observed in message monitor as below, however the large file is not archived as expected.

Cannot process input file '<file name>' because its size (xxxxx bytes) exceeds the maximum file size (xxx bytes)
