3511243 - xp_cmdshell command fails with error "object 'libguard-atap-sybase-15-64.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64)" - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Use xp_cmdshell to call script outside of ASE, however, it fails with below error:

ERROR: ld.so: object 'libguard-atap-sybase-15-64.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64): ignored.

  • Checked on OS level, and can see libguard-atap-sybase-15-64.so exists
