SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Management

1. Navigate to Time Off ESS UI or Admin UI
2. Create Absence
3. Select Time Type and Start Date/ End Date
4. Click on Submit
5. The system displays an error: Time Account Changes cannot be saved: Periodic Update and Periodic Update Correction bookings are only allowed if the time account type is configured for periodic update.

• Periodic Update are not supported for Recurring Time Account Types.
• Remove the rule that attempts to create periodic update posting type entries for the recurring time accounts.
• To update Periodic Update entries in the Time Account, it is recommended to use the "Periodic Time Account Update Profile" for Permanent Time Account Types.
