3512216 - Custom Catalog Extensions publish failed - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • Custom Catalog Extensions publish failed with error message "Publishing Process failed. ".
  • There is a warning message like below at the left corner. 

         "SAP_FIN_BC_GL_JE_PROC_PC process locked Please try again later. "

  • After clicking the "Check" button, there are some errors display like below. 

         Authority for App YYAxxxxx is missing in business role XXX_BR_CONSLDTN_SPECIALIST, business catalog SAP_FIN_BC_GL_JE_PROC_PC

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

This error might happen after upgrade. 

Follow the content of SAP Help Portal below and update the business roles.

After all changes done, try to publish the custom catalog extension again.
