3512306 - Message 'For new users, Cost Center Group can only be edited in Manage Global Hierarchies' raised when trying to create new cost center group

When trying to create a new cost center group via APP 'Manage Cost Center Groups', raise error:
For new users, Cost Center Group can only be edited in Manage Global Hierarchies.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

This should be one issue caused by new feature, the Fix will reach to system around Oct 21st.

For workaround: Create one cost center, then standard cost center group 0001 will be created automatically,
after that, other alternative cost center groups can be created without issues.

Besides, Manage Global Hierarchies is the replacement of SET Groups. Cost Center hierarchy can be used in reports and allocations.
It is recommended to use APP Manage Global Hierarchies.

We still recommend to use Global Accounting Hierarchies of type Cost Center instead of Cost Center groups, especially, if they are only need for reporting. Users can also create Global Accounting Hierarchies in compatibility mode, so they can be used in Universal Allocations e.g.
