3512405 - How to configure PGP Encryptor to encrypt and sign the payload in Integration Flow

Symptom

PGP Encryptor is involved in an Integration flow to encrypt and sign the payloads from SAP Cloud Integration tenant to receiver system. For this use case, the following key artifacts have to be deployed on the tenant:

  • A PGP Public Keyring that contains the receiver’s public key (required by the tenant to encrypt the payload)
  • A PGP Secret Keyring that contains the tenant's private key (required by the tenant to sign the payload)

Receiver system provides the PGP public key to encrypt the payload. Then it's necessary to import the receiver's public key into the PGP Public Keyring. Here will mainly explain how to get the tenant's private key to sign the payload and how to configure the PGP Encryptor for signing.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
