Symptom

Is it possible to remove the unwanted Business Process Errors from the To-Do task bar?

Resolution

  • It is possible to remove the unwanted Business Process Error Entries from To-Do Task Bar via Check Tool.
  • Kindly follow the below steps: 
  1. On the Homepage, click on the To-Do Task Bar and select Business Process
  2. Select the task that should be removed 


  3. Note the "bpUserTaskId" from the URL

    For example, from the above screenshot, il note the value "adef52eb-6379-11ef-bcc7-6045bd7ab579"

  4. Go to Check Tool > Select Validation 
  5. Under "Application", select "Onboarding" and click on Go
  6. Select "Stale To-Dos in the Business Process Engine are cleared. (ONB2BPEStaleTodoCleanUp)" and click on Run Check


  7. Enter the BPE User Task Id copied in step 3 and click on Run


  8. Once the run is completed, system will update with the value "No Issues Found"


NOTE: 

  • Once the To-Do Entry is deleted, it will delete the entry from the BPE Tool. Hence it is not possible to retrieve this To-Do Entry again.
  • Mass deletion of Business Process Errors via check tool is not supported, please validate every entry individually and remove the entry only if deemed unwanted.
