3512455 - OAuth Authentication supported in Mail Adapter for Google SMTP

Symptom

According to the announcement "Transition from less secure apps to OAuth" from Google, starting in autumn of 2024, users must use OAuth with third-party apps to access Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts. OAuth is a more secure access method, no longer use a password for access (with the exception of app passwords). This change will affect the Integration flow which is designed to connect to Google SMTP in SAP Cloud Integration (former: CPI). Here will explain how to support OAuth access to Google SMTP vis Mail adapter in CPI.
