3512682 - Application error appears when selecting an email template - Recruiting Management

Recruiting user is sending an Ad Hoc email. An error appears upon selecting the Email Template template from the list:

The server returned error: An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=892b30aa-34b5-4b70-8c63-b52df167ecd4, timestamp=2024-08-29T12:38:22.590-0400, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Recruiting > Job Requisitions
2. Open a requisition and go to Candidates
3. Open an application
4. Click on Email to send an Ad Hoc email
5. Select the email template with problem
6. The error shows up

The email template has invalid HREF configuration when you look at the Source. Instead of pointing to a valid URL, HREF contains invalid URL with special characters.

Go to Manage Recruiting Email Templates and edit the email template with error.

Click on Source and correct the HREF configuration by placing a valid URL.
