3513058 - Incorrect Time Account Balances on Termination Date in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Employees are not receiving the correct leave balances on their Last Working Day.
• This issue is noticed on the Separation screen where Time Off Balance as of Termination date is displayed.
• The issue is observed in different cases of Last Working Date.

In other words:

When Terminating a user in the future, the value of the Time Account Balance as of Termination Date in the Employment Details Portlet does not match the actual value recorded as the Termination Date 

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Time Off - Termination End Handling

1. Open employee's profile.
2. Go to Actions.
3. Select Take Action.
4. Mention Date Of Resignation.
5. Mention Last Date Of Working.
6. Save and Check the Time Off Balance as of Termination Date.

Example:

• Go to the user profile
• Action > Termination
• Insert the termination date as of today [ex. current date]
  • The value is correct in the Time Account Balance section [current date, the balance is 10]
• Select a termination date in future (more than 30 days) [assuming that the monthly accrual is 2 days, the expectation is that by change the termination date to current date + 1 month, the value should  also increment by 2 i.e. 10+2 > 12]
  • However, the value in the Time Account Balance does not change [i.e., does not increment as expected ==> current date + 1 month, the balance is still 10]
• Complete the termination for a future date [current date + 1 month].
  • Then go to the Employment details section
  • check the Time Account Balance, the value has not changed -  [the value show in still 10 instead of the expected 12] 

The value in the Time Account Balance in the employment details section is copied from the current time account.

The Value displayed will be prorated to the future value

This is expected behaviour.

• The value in the Time Account Balance in the employment details section will be set to the true value on the actual termination date as confirmed in the time account.
• Basically the The value in the Time Account Balance in the employment details section  =The Time Account Balance as of today and does not simulate the future values
