Symptom

  • Model replacement does not work
  • Measures to replace are not displayed and cannot map

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Enterprise 1.0 (2024.15.6)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Story to replace the model.
  2. In Edit mode, Tools - Add New Data, select a model to replace, then Replace. 
  3. Measures are not listed. Manually typing in Search, and selecting one does not let mapping occur. 

 

 

Cause

Hierarchy defined in measure, so mapping doesn't work.

Resolution

Manual map the objects should work.
