3513150 - Not able to edit or regenerate custom fields or datasource extensions on a copied system

Symptom

  • After a system copy you are not able to edit custom fields or datasource extensions in the new system
  • On a copied system, you are referring to the note 2640715 to perform regeneration of custom fields or datasource extensions after system upgrade, but the regeneration fails with result text: 
    Regeneration need could not determined
    Custom Field ... could not be retrieved.
