3513469 - Home page banner not working properly in mobile browser

Symptom

Home page banner cut off and distorted in mobile browser even when using aspect ratio 3:2. 

Environment

  • SAP Successfactors HCM Suite
  • SAP Successfactors Mobile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login via normal browser session.
  2. Trigger session for mobile app.
  3. Then login via mobile browser.
  4. Compare the home page banner views.

Cause

Browsers on desktop and mobile use the larger 16:9 banner image; the smaller 3:2 image displays only in the Mobile Application.



Resolution

This is the expected behavior when accessing SAP SuccesFactors in mobile browsers.
