3513564 - How to Record a HAR trace directly from the C4C Server Side Integration

Symptom

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

A HAR Trace needs to be recorded, however it is not possible to do via browser or no results are returned to the browser.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer
Groupware Server-Side Integration

Resolution

  1. First, open the Add-in Context menu within Outlook
  2. Right Click anywhere inside the add-in and click on "Inspect"
  3. In the New Window, go to the "Network" Tab
  4. Check if the Recording simbol is red. This means the recording is being done and we can start. In case it is not, click it to turn on the recording.
  5. Back to the Add-in screen, click on the "Refresh" button
  6. Wait for the Add-in to fully load, then, reproduce the issue.
  7. Once the issue has been reproduced, on Dev tools, click on "Stop Recording" - the button should turn white now.
  8. Click on "Export"
  9. With the file now saved, upload it to the Case
