Symptom
In EC Time, the Planned working time is recorded in hours and minutes using the HH:MM format. This data is then transferred to EC Payroll and stored in infotype 2003. However, in infotype 2003, the data is stored as a fraction of hours with two decimal places (X,YZ). This can lead to rounding issues. For example, let's consider an employee's working time for a week:
Monday - 06:40
Tuesday - 06:40
Wednesday - 06:40
Thursday - 06:40
Friday - 06:40
In infotype 2003, the recorded values for this week will be:
Monday - 6,67
Tuesday - 6,67
Wednesday - 6,67
Thursday - 6,67
Friday - 6,67
If we add up these values in EC, the total is 33 hours and 20 minutes, which is equivalent to 33,33 in decimal format. However, in EC Payroll, it is recorded as 33,35. This creates a difference of 0,02 between the values in EC and ECP on a weekly basis.
