3513753 - Error "Unable to insert data due to a server error" occurs in 'Add New Hire to Onboarding' - Onboarding

After clicking ‘Submit‘, an error occurs in 'Add New Hire to Onboarding'.

• "Unable to insert data due to a server error. Please try again." 

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to 'Add New Hire to Onboarding'
2. Fill in all necessary information
3. Error pops-up after clicking Submit

'Next Employee ID Assigned' is already occupied.

Please go to Company System and Logo Settings and find the setting ''Maximum Number Already Used as Employee ID for Existing Employees".

Change the "Next Employee ID Assigned" to a value that is greater than the maximum value.

If further assistance is required, please raise a ticket to SAP Support referring this KBA and provide the following information in the ticket.

1. Company ID
2. Support access
3. Your approval to replicate issue and add a test user in the instance
4. All required information for replicating and testing
