3513817 - Not able to confirm putaway Warehouse Task due to error /SCWM/SERIAL012

Symptom

  • Error "Number of serial numbers does not correspond with quantity in item (Message no. /SCWM/SERIAL012)" while confirming Putaway Warehouse Task in /SCWM/TO_CONF transaction.
  • When trying to add the missing serial numbers in 'Serial Number' tab via form view, it is greyed out, not able to edit it.
