Symptom

Full backup is very slow taking 24H to backup 25Tb.
How to improve this full backup?

The backup script creates multiple files of same size at the backup location.
There is a big variance in the backup file creation timing.
Normally a file is created in 2-3 min but some files are taking up 20-25 mins which is increasing the backup window and its not acceptable.
What could be the reason?
Storage team finds no problem with the storage.
