3514021 - How to Join MS Teams Meeting when Interview is Scheduled

Symptom

  • Can users join directly to the meeting?
  • How does external candidate join the meeting?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Resolution

  • Organizer and Interviewers start the meeting by accessing the meeting link in the Invite or Calendar.
  • External candidate needs wait for the recruiter or interviewer to admit you into the meeting, irrespective of whether you use Outlook integration.
  • Internal candidates can join directly and doesn't need to be admitted as they’re already part of the system (MS teams organization).

This means with the integration, system will be able to see the interviewer calendar free/busy, schedule meetings which are done within SFSF system however when the MS Teams link is opened this will open the company's MS teams app which is managed by company's settings.

Incase, users are unable to start the meeting or internal candidates are unable to join the meeting please check the MS Teams setting if there are restrictions configured as the users under the same organization should be able to join the meeting without the need to be accepted.
