Symptom

• The username is not displayed in the header of the people profile despite being configured to display in the configure people profile tool.

Environment

  • Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

1. Navigate to the People Profile tool.
2. Observe that the username is not displayed in the header despite being configured to do so.

Cause

The issue is caused by the setting "Username in the UI" being enabled in the Platform Feature Settings. This setting is expected to display the username as reported and is designed to be customer-specific.

Resolution

As per current system configuration, Admin Center > Platform Feature Settings > Enable/Disable Platform Features -> Hide Username in the UI is enabled. This will hide username as reported and it is expected by design (customer-specific).
