3514329 - Error: "[The query is inconsistent : A single element must be filtered for following fieldnames: [Fieldname]]" in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When selecting only two or more members in the Input Control, no data will be loaded to the widgets and error will be displayed in SAC.
• Error: "[The query is inconsistent : A single element must be filtered for following fieldnames: [Fieldname]]"
• This story's data source is the analytical dataset in SAP Datasphere.
• Error both in classic and Optimized Design Experience (ODE) story mode.
• This functionality worked fine before the QRC2 2024.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2024.15.6
• SAP Datasphere 2024.17.1

1. Login to SAC.
2. Create a story based on live data connection to Datasphere.
3. Insert a chart.
4. Select Datasphere connection and dataset/model.
5. Add any measure and dimension.
6. Insert Input control based on the dimension mentioned in the above error message and select "All" members.
7. When Input control has been created, unselect "All" and check more than two members => no data will be loaded to the widgets and error will be displayed in SAC.

Model design issue on Datasphere side.

Associations have to be re-mapped on Datasphere model side.
