Symptom

Performed SP Level upgrade or patch version update for one of the PI/PO core components.

After the upgrade/update, the Mail Adapter channels are failing with error similar to the following:

Exception caught by adapter framework: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.service.XIMailAdapter.getBinding() of a null object returned from com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.service.XIMailAdapterManager.getAdapter(java.lang.String)
