All Employee History records corresponding to one user are set to only active or inactive status even though in Employee Central the user was active during one of the records and inactive during another.

Reproducing the Issue
The user is currently Inactive in the system from 27/08/2024:
Even though he was active for the duration of the bonus plans the status displays: Inactive because the user is currently inactive.
The following user is currently active but will be terminated in a later point of time.
All record status values are “Active” even though he will be inactive for one of the future records.
Resolution
It is system design that Employee History does not follow each record's status, and nor the effective date. Employee History displays the user's current status for all of their records.
