3514442 - Direct live connection fails with CORS error - Microsoft Azure

Direct Live connection fails with CORS errors, equal to what's seen in:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP Analytics Cloud

Microsoft Azure is blocking the URL request from SAC.

In a BPC Direct Live Connection this can be seen in the console logs of your browser as:

This is evidenced by the login.microsoft URL being present at the Request, rather than the backend URL. 

Make sure you are using SAML as your authentication method.
