3514678 - Error message RETMFI 031 when creating RE-FX objects using BAPI

Symptom

When creating a new RE-FX master data object using BAPI, the error message RETM031 is raised.

RETMFI 031 "&1: profit center accounting is active, enter a profit center for &2"

However, it is possible to create such objects without profit center using the standard transaction.
