Symptom

The nameserver fails to start and produces a crashdump file.
In the nameserver trace file, you see an error such as

Too many async. file descriptors per file: <number> < 16; $condition$=numAsyncFileDescriptors <= MAX_NUM_ASYNC_FILEDESCRIPTORS
