3515495 - Completion approval pending after user removal from class

When adding history record from a class with E-Signature and later unregistering the user from the class, the completion approval remains pending.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access Learning Administration>
2. Go to Learning Activities> Classes and search for a class from an item with E-Signature enabled>
3. Click on Actions and select Add to Learning History>
4. Select the user and continue with the steps>
5. Select a completion status with E-Signature enabled and an Approval Process>
6. A message informing that one or more users require additional E-Signature verification is displayed>
7. Go to the Registrations tab and find the user that the completion was added to>
8. Click on the three dots and Remove>
9. Go to People> Users and search for the user that the completion was added to>
10. From the user's profile, go to the Approvals tab>
11. The Completion E-Signature approval is pending.

This is the expected system behavior. As the process to unregister a user from a class is separate from the completion recording, removing the user registration does not cancel the approval process triggered by the completion.

As a workaround, the admin can deny the approval process from Learning Administration by following the steps below:

1. Go to People> Users and search for the user>
2. From the user's profile page, go to the Approvals tab>
3. Click on the Approval ID link>
4. Check the Deny option and click on Next>
5. Enter the admin E-Signature and click on apply changes.
