3515681 - Dump error occurs when trying to hire employee.

Symptom

Dump occurs, when the user tries to open Hire employee view

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center
  2. Select Regular task view
  3. Choose UK
  4. Choose Hire employee

Dump Occurs : Please try resuming your work. If you still face issues, report an incident.

Cause

User does not  have the write access for Regular tasks .

 

Resolution

To overcome the issue, provide write access to the user.


Steps to do the changes:

  1. Go to Application and user management work center
  2. Select Business user and search for the user
  3. Choose Edit button and select Access Rights.
  4. Go to Access Restrictions tab
  5. Now filter Work Center View Name with Regular tasks.
  6. Now do the change to write access from no access to unrestricted
