3515850 - Duplicate Payloads Generated When 3PL Inbound Delivery Notification Is Cancelled

Symptom

  • You haven cancelled you 3PL stock transfer outbound delivery. 
  • You see there are 2 payloads send to your warehouse provider when the cancellation is triggered. 
  • Once message has the same IDN information and the second message has cancellation information. 

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Third-Party Logistics work center. 
  2. Navigate to the 3PL Inbound view and choose the  Inbound Delivery Notifications sub-view
  3. Search for the relevant delivery notification, select it and choose the Edit button. 
  4. Navigate to the document flow tab and in extended view you can see there are two DDAN messages send at the same time. 
  5. Once with cancellation and one without cancellation.

The business user wants to understand why two messages were send. 

Cause

  • First payload is triggered when the reference outbound delivery is Undo Released. 
  • Second payload is triggered when the cancellation of outbound delivery is Cancelled. 

Resolution

  • The mentioned behavior is not a bug, the behavior occurs as explained above.
