3515964 - Error When Filtering by an Extension Field Value

Symptom

You can see following error when filtering results by a Custom Field added to an entity list:

  • Bad Request:INVALID_ARGUMENT: Error in SelectOption: extensions.<Field Name> is not a valid attribute for entity: <Entity API URL>

The <Field Name> refers to the custom field name and the <Entity API URL> refers to the entity that the field has been created.
