Error  "DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result. Error: ' ' hexadecimal value 0x0B" Occurs while extracting Data via oDataFeed into Microsoft excel.

1. Go to MS Excel in local m/c .
2. Go to Data Tab
3. Get Data --> From Other Sources --> From OData Feed
4. Fill in relevant login details
5. Enter OData URL - as sample below.
6. You might get an error - "DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result. Error: '' hexadecimal value 0x0B is an invalid character." 

This is currently out of scope of SAP .

When the OData call works just fine within an SAP product (oData Service products) as well as outside an SAP product (such as API tools, browser tab etc) the issue is no longer from the oData framework side.

The issue specifically happens at the Microsoft Excel software end, which does not lie in the scope of SAP and it is recommended that you raise a ticket to Microsoft to address the same.
