3516166 - Material status setting does not stop sales order creation for repair/return scenario

Symptom

  • Value 'B' (Error message) is assigned to field 'Block for order' (TVMS-SPVBC) in 'Material status' setup for a specific status code.
  • This specific status code is assigned to field 'DChain-spec. status' (MVKE-VMSTA) in material master for a given Material.
  • A Sales document is created with standard RA, RA2 or RAS or with a similar custom coded order type where this Material is given as item.
  • Error message V1028 (Material &1 has status: &2) is expected to prevent Sales document creation, but no message is issued and Sales document can be saved.
