3516259 - Partially Delivered Customer Demand Order Item is Canceled, But Remains With The Cancellation Status: Cancellation Requested

You have cancelled a Project Stock Order Item, but the Cancellation Status of the Customer Demand Order Item remains as "Cancellation Requested" and you want to know why this is the case.

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the work center 'Outbound Logistics Control'.
2. Go to the 'Customer Demand' view.
3. Find the relevant Customer Demand.
4. Select the relevant Order Item.
5. You can see the Cancellation Status is Cancellation Requested.

• You have partially delivered the Project Stock Order Item.
• When you partially deliver the Order Item and then cancel the open quantity, the Cancellation status of the Order Item will remain as Cancellation Requested and the Delivery status will become Finished.

Note : The Cancellation status of the relevant line item will be updated to cancelled only when the partially delivered quantities has been cancelled as well. However, this is a decision you have to take after discussing with your business. 

This is the expected system behavior.
