3516448 - Application error when Uploading Custom Attachment in Manage Data - Onboarding

The issue relates to the inability to upload a custom attachment in Manage data. The document format is PDF, which is a supported format, yet the issue persists.

The error message displayed is: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to Manage data
2. Attempt to upload a custom PDF document
3. Error: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring."

The issue is caused by the "Enable OpenText Integration" being enabled in Provisioning.

If using PFS (Print form service) make sure to disable Opentext:

1. Go to Provisioning
2. Navigate to Company Settings
3. Disable Enable OpenText Integration (Requires “Enable the Attachment Manager” and “Enable Generic Objects”) (Warning: this feature is for third-party storage provider OpenText integration only)
4. Save changes
5. Test again
