3516798 - Open Item Management field is blank in Manage G/L Account Master Data app

• In the Manage G/L Account Master Data app (App ID F0731A) in the company code view on displaying the Open Item Management field the field is blank or null.
• It is not clear why the OIM (Open Item Management) field is blank as Yes or No is maintained in other G/L Accounts.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

1. Manage G/L Account Master Data app.
2. View: Company Code View.
3. Enter mandatory input parameters: Chart of Accounts, Company Code.
4. Go.
5. Open Item Management field is displayed with Blank, Yes or No.
   
   

Accounts for which open item management isn't possible:
G/L accounts that can't be managed on an open item basis include, for example:

• Bank accounts
• Tax accounts (except for deferred tax)
• Raw material accounts
• Reconciliation accounts, which are managed implicitly using the subledger open item function
• Material stock accounts

In the display view or results it is important to check the 'Recon. Account for Account Type' for the Blank or Null entries.  As it is not possible to maintain OIM for these account types.

1. Manage G/L Account Master Data app.
2. View: Company Code View.
3. Enter mandatory input parameters: Chart of Accounts, Company Code.
4. Go.
5. Open Item Management field is displayed with Blank, Yes or No.
6. Settings.
7. Add view 'Recon. Account for Account Type'.
